Paua Bay Farmstay offers a unique experience. Guests can escape to enjoy the activities of a working farm or can relax on the verandah listening to birdsong. Breakfast is served on the verandah or in the inviting kitchen where the noises of the start of a new farm day mingle with the sound of the sea. After breakfast guests can choose to help muster sheep or engage in other farm activities, gather shellfish or observe seals and the occasional penguin on the private beach. The garden encompasses a 600 year old Kahikatea, Totara and many other native trees. The swimming pool has stunning views over the Pacific.

A room with a view

* The guest room is a Queen size double with ensuite bathroom and private entry through French doors from the rose covered verandah. The room is elegantly decorated in modern country tones from which fortunate guests awake to one of the first sunrises of the Southern Hemisphere.

* Breakfast is served on the verandah or in the inviting kitchen where the noises of the start of a new farm day mingle with the sound of the sea.

* Lunch and dinner are served around the long kitchen table where conversation may precede a long soak in the candle-lit bath under the stars.

* Please note that there is a minimum two night stay.
